'95 Toyota Starlet

Last couple of weeks was really hectic. This starlet coverage had to be delayed for 2 weeks. I feel apologize to the owner who is my best friend from my previous car club. It all started after the photo shoot which held in an early morning on the east side of Jakarta. My laptop just won’t turn on after I uninstall my Photoshop software to replace it with newer version. And my friend advises me to re-format it because it has something to do with the system.

Anyway, back to the story, It was a really beautiful morning and the sun seemed to shine quite friendly. The 1995 Toyota starlet was already wash, polish and ready to pose in the front of this astonishing Hindu’s religious place. This 4 door hatchback was originally equipped with 2E. This version is the only version of Starlet that we Indonesian can buy.

But this guy has a JDM spirit character. He ordered a 4E-FTE engine from a chop shop and installed it along with minor aftermarket parts such as TRD radiator cap, HKS bov, Super Filter, Pivot Raizin Volt stabilizer.

The interior equip with Starlet GT original dashboard. For those of you who are not familiar with this type of engine swap, the 4E-FTE cannot be separated from its dashboard. When you install the engine the dashboard needs to go a long otherwise the engine won’t start.

The interior fill with JDM material such as TRD shift knob, TRD oil pressure, oil temp and water temp gauges, Nardi steering wheel with TRD Horn button, Apex’i turbo timer and the JDM ‘signature’ BRIDE pros.

To sum up everything, the owner added as well starlet GT OEM: bumper with lips ,stop lamp, spoiler ,engine hood ,head lamp ,fog lamp,

my favorite part of this car is this.. this rare and hard to find in Indonesia TRD T3 R15 with Advan Neova ad07. Undercarriage also fill with aftermarket part such as Koni shock absorber, Apex spring, Tanabe strut bar at the back, starlet GT OEM at front, Tanabe front stabilizer and Starlet GT disc break.
