Fun Weekend @ Sentul Circuit

Last week I’ve uploaded some photos from the embryo of Indonesian Drifting Event. Yesterday morning, I got a message from my friend asking me whether I want to go along with him to meet up with Rizal Sungkar from Rft Management at Sentul International Circuit. The event was some kind of Mercedes Benz gathering and time attack. And I replied the massages ‘time attack? Are you serious? ’

Well it turns out it wasn’t a real time attack. It was more like Individuals practising. And was strange for me that there were plenty Mercedes Benz parked outside at the parking space but hell there were few BMW parked inside the paddock area and it wasn’t an ordinary BMW.

My friend who was texting me is the owner of the Evo VIII from the first post. And one thing leads to another.....

At this event, we didn’t use any sophisticated time measurement like many of you from overseas use. We just timed it with simple stop watch. My friend who wasn’t intentionally went to the event for testing his car went crazy seeing others pushing their cars to the limits. So Rizal helped him by giving a bit coaching clinics. He ended up having a great time.

At the end of the day, Rizal said he will try to organize event like this in the future. Let’s hope that soon we will see more serious. Time Attack event held in Indonesia.
